The Campaign Manger is assisting the Tournament Administrators with all the day-to-day tasks that are at hand. He is most notable for posting the battle information and results and work together with both CinCs.

Tasks

This is from an internal post in the Admin section:

Tasks of the Campaign Manager

  • Sets up new CinC's with a meeting on how all of the process of their job works in relation to the battle procedures ( not how they run their command ... exception is this campaign, I'll be helping shafter a bit).
  • The "Go-To Guy" for both CinC's on any questions they have on process and procedures in the Commanders Forum. This forum is for their benefit to talk to each other and get questions resolved.
  • Work with territory map values with the CinCs and input those values into the main map.
  • Accept the Bids, determine the results and post them in the forum. Also update the main page map with the attacking territories.
  • Work with the server admins in map placement and re-compilation for point system. Determine via results; Map playability, map Bias, if map is acceptable for ViE rotation, if map needs to be scrapped. (this do be done by public poll and in-house decisions, but the CM will lead the discussions.
  • Ensure the battle maps are ready to play on both servers and start the maps at the designated time (this can also be the server admins responsibility as well, or a shared area).
  • To communicate with the LoN and SC to enforce bans and other minor problems or be an extra eye on anti-cheat.
  • Download log files of the battles, process the points, load them into the normalization program to determine winning team and percentage. Post Battle results, update battle map. (need ftp access to both servers for the log files and map area ( in case we do not have an acceptable map at the on-set, we can be flexible enough to change it out on the fly).
  • Work with TA's in any areas needed to help future direction of the tourney.
