Catachan

Pre-ViE History

Catachan joined BFE in Campaign #2. His BFE career path took him from Private, through to Private First Class, up to

Lance Corporal, on to Sergeant and then finally Staff Sergeant. At the end of campaign #2, Catachan decided to pull out

of the DoD community in total, as the changes to DoD 2.0 were not to his liking. He bided his time, waiting for the right place and

opportunity to return. That opportunity was ViE.

Catachan was born in the United Kingdom, but both his parents are Italian. He considers himself dual nationality because of this.

His real name is Christian D'Amico, and he is an IT Engineer for the NHS. His hobbies vary from FPS games on PC, through to modified

cars (he's working on his own modified Honda Civic R-Type) and film. He regularly attends any film he can manage to see, and knows

his local cinema manager by their first name(!).

Catachan is 25; His birthday is September 13, 1981. He has an avid fascination with military structure and doctrine, and is an

accomplished strategist in FPS games. Some of you may know a game called PlanetSide. He is an active player in this, and has been for

over 3 years now, commanding upwards of 500 players in full-on armoured, air and infantry joint operations. He has designed

strategies that are used on a daily basis by commanders of the squads that fight in his faction, and continues to modify these as

they release new terrains and add new vehicles and weapons.

He is considered one of the most veteran players in PlanetSide, having been there from the beginning. He has led two outfits, and now

sits on the right-hand of the commander of one of the biggest in the game for their faction.
