Pre ViE Gaming Biography

Startedonline gaming with Half-Life Deathmatch many moons ago. One 8 man LAN back before the days of poptarts I was confronted with a brand spanking new mod called ' Day of Defeat '. I kicked the CSers ares at it so naturally tooka shine to it. Pubbed for a few months and then was invited to join Dunkirk Survivors, where I remained and finally ran the clan up to xmas 2006. since then I have joined Dogs of War, who are currently first in Enemy Down and Clanbase.

Origin of Nickname

There once was a character called minsc

he had a pet hamster, who in a pinchsc

would be called upon to Go For The Eyes!

Go for the eyes Boo! Go for the eyes!

all in baulders gate 2 did shout Minsc.

After a long spell in one clan it dissolved, up til then I was known by my first name and was bored of it. One day sat down writing down posabilities, this was unique and I liked it. :)

RL Background

Just turned 21. I've been a Civil servant for the past while but am looking at going back to uni.I was born and bred in the capital of the Scottish Highlands, thankfully I don't have a very strong 'Invernessian' accent, but the yanks still love it! :P I live with students, so I am very often, and unwisely 'pleasantly inebriated'. With the aforementioned students I play Ultimate and do all the normal social jazz and what not. Same old same old no doubt.

ViE Career

After running a clan and doing too much admin work I happily joined the ranks of Ewoks Axis army as a grunt in ViE#3. My 'skills' with the k98 brought me to the elite squads for the next couple of campaigns gaining my slef a few ranks as a soldier. In ViE #6 I was invited to lead a squad for the AZUL and jumped at the chance. My medal system failed outright and I think the only really motivated guys were my NCOs and the chaps I know from the EU clan scene. I enjoyed myself though, and look forward to ViE #7 wherever I end up.
