Hauptgefreiter is an Axis soldier rank. It is used in three variants, one for the Heer, one for the Luftwaffe and one for the Kriegsmarine. This is a German rank used in all three branches of the Axis Army, be it Heer, Kriegsmarine or Luftwaffe. The correct plural is Hauptgefreite.
