ViE Campaign 4

The fourth campaign of Victory in Europe was started on Saturday, December 16, 2006; 12 battledays were played, with the campaign ending on Saturday, January 28, 2007. The campaign ended with a narrow Axis victory (13 victories to 11 defeats).

The campaign was hoped to feature more players, but player numbers stagnated and some battle outcomes were greatly affected by lack of players on one team. On November 11, 2006, it had been announced by TA Moose that ViE#4 would see the introduction of full randomization upon registration, meaning that players were no longer be able to pick a side. The exact mechanisms are not known as of yet and according to nobleclem they will not be fully revealed to avoid players abusing them. In addition, loadouts were introduced in ViE#4, against the protest of several players.
